Set in the late 1980’s, Jenny is a relatively high functioning 28year old librarian despite a complex eating disorder and borderline personality traits. She feels contempt for most people and reacts to her world by wrapping herself in a jumble of mismatched clothes in an unconscious warning to keep others out. In therapy Jenny discovers her deliberate dishevelled appearance only acts to keep healthy people at a distance. Jenny is reactive to the world as she struggles to manage her raw emotions yet feels relief by the systems that are all about her within the library.
